Part 4 of i-adjective series:
In Japanese language, Adjectives are divided into two ways, i-adjectives and
na-adjectives.
The focus for this post is about i-adjectives.
Part 4 of i-adjectives, let’s check the 10 adjectives:

à うすい (Usui) – Thin (For
object)
Example:
ひじょうにうすいオブジェクト。
(非常に薄いオブジェクト。)
A very thin object.

à おもい (Omoi) – Heavy
Example:
おもいこころ。
(重い心。)
Heavy heart.
-----------------------------------------------
à かるい (Karui) – Light
(weight)
Example:
かのじょのたいじゅうはわたしよりかるいです。
(彼女の体重は私より軽いです。)
Her weight is lighter than me.

à ながい (Nagai) – Long
Example:
あなたのスピーチはながすぎます。
(あなたのスピーチは長すぎます。)
Your speech is too long.

みじかい
(Mijikai) – Short (length)
Example:
スカートがみじかすぎます。
(スカートが短すぎます。)
My skirt is too short.

à ふとい (Futoi) – Fat/Thick
Example:
わたしはふとっているとおもいます。
(私は太っていると思います。)
I think I’m fat.

à ほそい (Hosoi) – Thin / Slender /
Narrow (for person)
Example:
なぜあなたはそんなにほそいのですか？
(なぜあなたはそんなに細いのですか？)
Why are you so thin?

à からい (Karai) – Hot / Spicy
Example:
からいものがだいすきです。
(辛い物が大好きです。)
I love spicy foods.
-----------------------------------------------
à かたい (Katai) – Hard
Example:
ごはんはかたすぎます。
(ご飯は固すぎます。)
The rice is too hard
-----------------------------------------------
à おおい (Ooi) – Many / Plenty
Example:
ここにはひとがおおすぎます。
ここには人が多すぎます。
There are too many people here.
